Discussion thread for CommView WEPKR plug in tuto.

Every text or tutorial from airdump.net can be now discussed without registration in the certain Discussion. Without registration (if you are not interested in it) can the user create and write comments into the thread for each text. Other parts of Forum require registration to be able to send commnets. The users with registration use their account – the advantage is that they receive a caution about the email answer. The existing comments from the texts will be transfered into threads. The discussion without registration is limited to commenting the texts content.

I have no problems running commview on my atheros card and then using the bulit in logviewer to convert to .cap for aircrack to get keys. I love this tut. Also I think the wep key recovery from commview sucks.

It is possible to ask for trial version of plugin at (Tamosoft) home page or search by Google.

Hi to the tutorial outliner. Thanks for your advice, and the good way you outlined this tutorial. When you get the the WEP Key in HEX format, so you can use of this HEX converter to ASCII. It`s realy easy, you can do it online for example here. I already use it, and it`s COOL to know the way your neighbourshood choise different and serioustly Key phrases.

"Quarry of the WEP Key Quite interesting is digging for the WEP key itself. After successfull cracking it does not display. You can find it in the menu and can be displaied after invoking the window (menu) WEP Key List. It can not be copied from the window and is in HEX. Thanks again. Cannot find the Tamosoft 3.0.0.53 driver anywhere on the net. Does anyone know of any windows drivers for the prism 2.5 ? Thx

In the commview folder you have file commpr.inf. Use it for installing of Prism card (or use commview wizard). If you would like to have standard driver (not special) you can download it in the airdump.net download section (DIR -> software/drivers/Z-Com)

Hi. I was wondering if you could tell me how can i Config WEPKER on commview wifi i tried to use this programe step by step just the show on top, but when i click at tool there was no wepker. How can I access to that wepkr tool?

Try to reinstal the application. It dificult to tell you why it’s invissible for you.

I treied to uninstall it and and then i reinstall it again many times but doesn’t make change still there is no wepker on the tool bar

hello my name is ucil, i want to know how to bypass hotspot login page,can u help me. I can connect to one of acesspoint and the DHCP running, but if i try to open website, the browser always redirect to login page… can i manipulate this login page so i can browsing with this connection. Thanks.

Hi, I installed CommView for Wifi 5.6.0.553 and got it to working with my PCMCIA
TP-Link TL-WN610G (driver installed Atheros 5005GS). I then installed the WEP add-on, but it won’t work. I says "could not start device driver" and a second Commview screen opens? WEP add-on is not working, neither second Commview screen (1st is). What am I doing wrong? Greetings

Hi, you can try change the driver. I think commview include 3 driver for atheros cards. Mark the personal selection at driver install (reinstall). If no success try another way (operating system).

Great guide works like a charm found the key but there are missing peices in the key withh XX.. How can a get my key i worked so hard to find and no im not paying 500 dollars

Im not to sure what im doing wrong but i get all the packets and then wepkr said it found a key but there are all these x’s amongst it does any one know what is causing this? Thanks in advance

Use AirCrack to get the password
