Topic: WiFi card for wifi hacking

Hi guys. Could you help me with choosing the right wifi card? One I chose from WiFi cards applications is: Edimax EW-7325Ig, but I couldn’t find it in ane e-shop. Could you help me find something around 800 SKK
P.s. Right now, I only have Realtek RTL8168/8111 + Wl 5450AP antenna, is it good for wi-fi hacking? (guess not?) Thanx.

I’d recommend you one of the most popular – Edimax USg – it has a Edit:Realtek chipset, it’s very cheap and its available worldwide.

limit exposure to this area and report abnormalities in your life after exposure

If you want to take it more seriously, dont look at the price too much, but at its abilitie. If your not going to work in the 5GHz band, get an older Z-Com XI-626 or it’s PCMCIA equivalent Z-Com XI-325

If it is the Edimax 7318 USg (USB) , the chipset is Ralink !!!!!
..and Atheros for Edimax EW-7325Ig (PCI).

So I finally decided to buy TP-Link TL-WN551G, I hope it’ll be enough, and it’s cheap too

Definitely Edimax 7318 Usg for easy use and USB, and if the 4dB antenna wouldn’t be enouogh, get a 9dB. Too bad the 9dB is available only in the UK. But the Edimax itself, I’ve got one for 620 SKK 2 months ago.

Hi, I’ve also got the Edimax 7318. I recomend it. My set is on a 18 m USB cable and works fine 🙂 I use a 8dB cantenna. The AP is about a half of kilometer, signal strength is +/- 30 %, no problems.
