Topic: Backtrack 3 Final pre release installation
Hi. I have downloaded Backtrack 3 Pre release, but I can´t find anywhere the hardisc installation. ale nemožem nikde nájsť inštaláciu na hardisk. Is this possibility impemented in the last version?

Hi. As far as I know it isn´t there. Solution: If you have older Backtrack 3 Beta (and you don´t know how to do it differently) copy install script from here and wait few days for Final.

I have installed Backtrack 3 Beta, but resolution doesn´t work (when I change it, nothing happens). I don´t know how to make the copy. Can you help? When the final will be out?

Of course, here comes help. If you can´t search, copy and install in Backtrack use Ubuntu. There you can just click.

The Install menu refers to the script. I don´t know the name. PS: And please read the forum usage conditions.

I have the install script from Backtrack 3-beta converted on modul LZM, which can be just added on CD. If somebody is interested I can provide it.

I would like to ask for some information. What exactly does the modul, is there another installation (like from the menu)? What software is the best to use to add moduls to ISO? MySlax Creator tells me that BackTrack3 beta does not belong to the family Slax. Thanx

Thanks a lot. It´s the same modul from the menu but it´s not in the release version.

Michal: The installator is not in the Backtrack 3 pre-release versionl. So the above mentioned modul is an installator from Backtrack 3 beta, converted into modul. When you add it to the install CD into the folder "modules", you will be able to install the version on the hard disc. I´m not yet so familiar with linux, so I modify the distribution in Windows, for example in program UltraISO.
machnac: You´re welcome. But be careful, there won´t be nothing in the menu. It´s just an install script, it´s saved in the same location as in Backtrack3 Beta. You will have to find it and manualy start up.

cp -v ./stumbler.desktop /home/user/Desktop and you have clicking application link stumbler on the desktop.
The same thing but differently
ln -s stumbler /home/user/Desktop/název-odkazu
